Hellomoto Couple
|

I always whine that me and Ghaz don't take much photos together due to the huge size of his Canon DSLR. SO, here are some pics of us together, that we took on my Hellomoto. Yeay! Err.. although the quality and color enhancement sucks, still, I lurve the pics!

2006 is in!
Well, I'm not gonna start with the very cliched 'I can't believe time flies by so fast.. yada yada..'.. but 2005 has indeed been such a memorable year for me. Do'h.. I got hitched that year!
It was our first time celebratin' new year as hubby and wifey so we thought what better way to celebrate it than to travel a'la backpackers.. to Singapore!
Hmm.. never enough of Singapore eh
Anyway, me being an over-exciter (if there is such word lah) instantly suggested that we took a train there - so kononnya I can 'see the countryside'.. you know, like what the movies always portray! Nice countryside.. cozy train.. Somehow Ghaz wasn't too keen but because of my over-excitement, he agreed in the end.
Little did I know I'd sorta regret it..
8 freakin' hrs of journey! Sheeshhh! We left at 8:30 am from KL Sentral and reached Woodlands by 3 pm. Itu pun we took a cab from Woodlands to Orchard. If not.. additional 1 hr. Nuts. But well.. I took it like a real laydee. Still insisted that 'I'm glad to see the countryside'. Yeah right. Malaysia's 'countryside' is filled with hutan belantara and rumah setinggan... Errrkkk... Padan muka sendiri. But hey, I still value the experience! Thanks boo for tolerating me
The 'Post-Christmas' sale in Spore in UNBELIEVABLE! Guess was being my ultimatum. Sale up to 70% (and still cheaper even when converted to RM). Borong borong...!
Our new year countdown took place at Starbucks @ Orchard. Cozy and comfy, In each others' arms. Lovely *I love you boo*
3 days 2 nights, and it was time to go home.. yes, by train again. Since we bought the 2-way ticket. Hehe. Hey-low 'countryside'. Hrmph!
I had a lovely 'mini-honeymoon'. I guess what makes it more meaningful is when you have someone you love to share it with
Cheers to a new beginning!!

Happy Birthday Boo!
|
|
Today, December 6th, Ghaz is officially 31 yrs of age! Yeay!
I, for one, am a BIG sucker for celebrations and surprises! So, since he knew this from beginning, I know that he knows that I WILL do something about it. SO, being typical me, I took half day off from work and drove out to get himself a birthday cake and card. Call it typical, but to me it's all about the presentation and thoughts! Got him a Jamoca Almond Fudge cake from Baskin Robbins (yummylicious!)
On the eve of his birthday, I decided to bring him watch Holiday on Ice: Hollywood at Stadium Putra, Bukit Jalil. Since Ghaz has never been to any ice-skating thingy show, I thought it would be very nice to enjoy the light shows and colors and costumes (I used to go to a lot of Disney's Holiday on Ice when I was little, so I knew what to expect ) At the end of the show, we both left home mesmerized and content. The show was awesome!
At 12 midnight, I thought I'd surprise Ghaz by bringing in the cake and candles and stuffs - but he was too sleepy and tired, and ended up blowing the cake with his sleepy eyes and told me he'll eat the cake tomorrow Takpelah... janji ada surprise!
Tonight I've arranged for a nice dinner, somewhere.. and he doesn't know where Will update soon!
... continued
WE went to Tamarind Springs that serves Indochine food. Place is GREAT. Beeyootiful landscape and all. It's fine dining amidst the hills, and apparently it won many awards and all that shenanigans! Anyway, honestly the food was nothing great, errr, if you are very used to eating home cooked meals. But heck, the lights and candles setting is still very romantic... makes you feel on cloud 9
And after a good meal & lovely conversation, we went home, watched Edward Scissorshands on Star Movies, and fell asleep in each others arms..
The end of my boo's birthday
