1 week after..
|

1 week after! The pics were taken a week after the girls were discharged from NICU. Alhamdulillah, they both VERY healthy!
The first week was indeed a very challenging week for both me and Ghaz as first time parents to 2 BABIES! However miraculously we managed to pull it through together - the sleepless nights and taking turns to calm 2 babies at one go 
I LOVE MY GIRLS!!! 
and of course...
I LOVE MY BOO!!!!!

Yeehaaa... I'm not so lagging at uploading this time around  Anyway, to continue, it's now our 2nd day in Seoul and it's the official opening of the SICAF festival. The opening ceremony was held at CGV Yongsan, and it's actually a cineplex so we felt as if we're going for a movie screening or something! Ghaz got the special passes and we get to watch like all the screenings from other categories as well.
We had a very expensive lunch.. and I mean VERY. Believe it or not, our 'expensive' lunch was actually at Pizza Hut. We took the seafood combo and it totalled to KRW 22,000.
Wanna know how much is that in RM? .... RM 88!!! Mahal kan? Well apparently any western food outlet in Korea IS expensive. That is, when we convert to RM.
Sigh lepas tu terus tanak makan Pizza lagi.. makan je la foodcourt food

Here are pics of us prior to the plane ride and our arrival at Seoul at 8am ++. We went on MAS Airlines and I have to say it's not really a nice one cuz we had an AIRBUS and NOT a Boeing 747.
So what difference does it make?
Well.. our AIRBUS did NOT have a TV screen! Haha! Can you imagine? 8 hrs of journey and no TV entertainment?
Oh well we ended up trying to sleep as the journey was from 0100 hrs till 0800 hrs...
Anyway, 1st day at Seoul was free and leisure for us. We checked into Hotel President (which was smack in the middle of the city), and slept till late afternoon (tired from our early morning arrival) before we went jalan2 - guided by my trusted Lonely Planet guide. Went back early after exploring Dongdaemun market, slept, and anticipate the opening for SICAF tomorrow!

FINAAALLLYYYYY... I'm here to upload our Seoul photos!  Well as you might have known from my previous entry, Ghaz's work for Anuar Zain's 'Mungkin' music video was selected to participate under Commissioned Films at Seoul International Cartoon & Animation Festival (SICAF) 2006. The festival was from 24th - 28th May and we took off for Seoul on 23rd May @ 0100 hrs, returned on 29th May @ 'cannot-remember-what-hrs'
We didn't really get to go to MANY historic places as we were tied with the festival's itenaries. But we DID have loads of fun and some memorable incident along the way (you'll see along the way!).
And guess what? It was our 1ST YEAR ANNIVERSARY on 20.05.2006, prior to our trip!.. Wow.. it's already been a year and yet I'm still on cloud 9 The Seoul trip was somewhat a 2nd honeymoon to us. And to sum it all up? .... FANTABULOUS!
This is the night before we left, at KL Sentral and KLIA. I guess I'll group the pics by days. Let's share the lurrrrvvveeeeeeeee

Hello world!! It's been eons since I last updated.. well for those who were not in the know, me and Ghaz went to Seoul late last May for Seoul International Cartoon and Animation Festival (SICAF 2006). He was nominated under Commissioned Films category for his video 'Mungkin'! ANYWAY, photos are in my iBook (haha cerita panjang2, tapi takde photo ) so these photos are photos of my good friend, Chai, who came back to KL (from the States), for her business trip. The girls had an outing at Peranakan Restaurant (One Utama) and it was indeed such a gastronomic one!

My sister Liris got hitched! With her man Rizal, they both look lovely together The nikah was held at Masjid Wilayah, and the reception was held the following night @ JW Marriot, KL. Me and Ghaz spent a 1-night-honeymoon at the Marriot too. Bestttttt...
Well, what more can I say to the newlyweds, welcome to the club! Cheers to a new beginning!

PHOTOS UP!
This time's entry is from last weekend's trip to Melaka. Ghaz was involved in the MMU Tennis Tournament, and hence being his ardent supporter (GO BOO!) I took half day from work and cabut to Melaka earlier so we could chill before the actual match.
Now, what makes this entry SO special is that 90% of the photos you see here is taken entirely by ME! Haha! Quite an achievement (I think?), considering I've never been exposed to any creative photography yada yada. All I had was boo's DSLR and some basic knowledge he taught me about photography. I had some trouble with the manual focus (degil - suruh guna auto focus tanak! Nak pro la konon ) so mind me if some photos are slighly blurry.
But still, I must say I did a good job Not to mention, I was like a stalker. Wherever Ghaz goes, I snap his photo like a paparazzi (minus the gigantic lense, of course).
Big news is of course, Ghaz won the doubles match! Yeay! With his partner Nian Yang, they beat MMU Melaka in a match that lasted till night! It was all worth it. Menang bag tennis Wilson yang akhirnya menjadi milik isteri tercinta *HAHA thanks boo * Was so proud of him! Sampai terbakar tengkuk main ok. It was so freakin' hot in Melaka. Not to mention, I got tanned too. Erk
